小大人計畫The Giant Project
這是一個關於夢想的展覽，而夢想是屬於孩子們的。設計這件事，誰說大人才做的到?我們設計了一個繪本故事，再請小朋也畫出心目中的遊樂設施，讓他們討論、畫圖、創意發想，並將模型製作出來，再由我們的團隊討論出有潛力的點子繼續發展，最後整合出了兩個巨大模型，實現他們夢想中的藍圖。透過這次的計畫，我們想讓大家看到，小朋友的腦中擁有多大的創造力，身軀小但創意無限。
身軀可以小，但創意和夢想絕對不小
let's talking about a dream, what do children want? what's their dream? Do children really want rides made from adult ?
We always give them a model answer, yes/no, can and cannot, telling them what they can do, and what is dangerous. Once they grow up, they become less creative. Though they might be small but their ideas are unlimited.
This day, we went to elementary school do activities and also teach them how to make models. We created 4 environments to choose, each inhabitant had different characteristics, such as jumping into sky or Breathing in the water. We asked them to imagine that they are residents, and to tell us what would they like to play. All members of our group would go to each table to help them sketching, no matter what they think, we were always stand by their sides, pushing them into higher level. In that moment we stoped discussing the practicability of the idea. After sketching, we taught them how to change into models, by using clay, transparency and some art materials. Lastly, each team created brilliant ideas.
For example,the fastest ways to school, they think of using rocket as the transportation, or just open the door and the school was in front of them, even jump into canon and the inhabitants will deliver to the destination immediately. Another case ,there is a character in a park play in the specific place. After collecting their creative ideas, we incorporated and turn them into Theme parks.
Finally, we created an exhibit and invited students and parents to join. They were so excited and surprised to see their ideas are truly produced in front of them. This was the first time I gave design rights to the users, let them build their dream, I believe design can change people's mind and the world will become better.
